Peter Case Tour Postponed For Medical Reasons

Peter Case announced today that the September leg of his fall tour, scheduled to begin this Friday in Nashville during the annual AmericanaFest 2018, the Americana Music Festival and Conference, has been postponed due to a medical situation.

“I love the road and regret not seeing you guys and playing but it’s unavoidable,” said Case from his home in San Francisco. “I’ll be back out as soon as possible.”

Case is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, guitarist, performer and producer; a founder of The Nerves and the Plimsouls, he has recorded 13 solo albums. Case’s most recent release, On The Way Downtown, is an archival live set, recorded for KPFK’s FolkScene and released by Omnivore Recordings; his prior studio album, HWY 62, is a collection of topical and personal songs concerning matters of a nation in decline.

September tour dates will be rescheduled and posted on Case’s website as soon as they are available.
