The Vivid Scene

The Vivid Scene is a rock band based out of Geneseo, N.Y. that was formed in 2023. The group is made up of four SUNY Geneseo students, Trevor Donlon, Justin Maxwell, Gavin Ackerman, and Kevin Shea, on vocals, guitar, bass, and drums respectively. The four members all hail from different musical styles, with their influences ranging from Neil Young, to the Foo Fighters, to Chuck Berry, and everything in between. They play an entertaining mix of alternative/pop/classic rock hits with a handful of originals. The group has been performing extensively around the Geneseo region. Venues have included everything from private parties to town festivals, along with several bookings at the local live music hub, Drumroll Stage + Sushi Bar. This up-and-coming group has gained a dedicated fan base within the college community and are eager to expand further.
