Hot Wire

Hot Wire is an Acoustic, Americana band from the Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes region, and made up of a diverse family of musicians ages 20’s to 60’s with backgrounds from Bluegrass to Classical; Country to Jazz.

Their passion is to share fun, energetic music with a pure acoustic sound but with a touch of an “outlaw” edge that would appeal to partying youth as well as the country aficionado and the bluegrass followers while respecting the broad range of the rock and pop genres.

Fate has a way of getting the right people together. Hot Wire fans have confirmed that they love the energy, fun and spirit that Hot Wire has delivered....and its only going to get better!

P.S.   The band name "Hot Wire" was inspired by the temperature of the strings on their instruments after a fun time of performing....but not to worry, they cool down once in a while too!
