The Chinchillas

The Chinchillas are an indie rock band from Rochester, NY, known for their blend of catchy melodies, quirky lyrics, and an energetic stage shows. Formed in 1985, the group quickly became a local favorite with their unique fusion of rock and roll, country and Americana influences.
The band have cemented themselves as one of the most distinctive acts to come out of the Rochester music scene.
