Singer-songwriter Teddy Long released his new album ‘Head For The Hills’– his first new music in five years. Fusing country, folk and Americana, the Austin-based artist delivers an alluring and deeply honest collection of songs confronting themes like mortality, cultural identity and the conflict between personal values and relational dynamics. With intricate arrangements featuring pedal steel, baritone guitars, and lush harmonies, Long’s music is as immersive as it is raw. Over the past fifteen years, Long has been a steady fixture in Austin’s vibrant and vast music scene. He has toured extensively throughout Texas and the Southwest, sharing the stage with notable artists like Shane Smith & The Saints, Jack Ingram, Django Walker, and Dale Watson.
