The Jet Black Berries

Originally signed to Enigma Records, the Berries made their mark with their cult classic, “Sundown on Venus,” which landed in the Top 20 of college radio, and found an even bigger audience through their appearance on “The Return of the Living Dead” soundtrack. They are currently riding a huge resurgence in popularity with the re-release of their “Sundown on Venus” album and a new single, “Rocketfire Sex66” getting rave reviews in the U.S., U.K., Spain, Brazil, and Indonesia.

All ticket proceeds from the night will go to Rochester’s great musician, journalist, author and recontour, Frank De Blase, as he battles some serious health challenges.

The second set of the night will feature The Jet Black Berries performing New Math songs with tons of special guests from Rochester’s musical community, including Peter Presstone, Donny Mancuso, Brian Lindsay, James Tabbi, Steve Lyons, Suzi Willpower, Herb Heinz, Bill Lambert, Zazu Pitts, Jeff Spevak, Mike Murray, Stan Merrill…and more to come!!!
