Kelley's Heroes Band returns to Abilene on August 8 to celebrate four years as a band — back on the stage where they played their second-ever gig in 2022. In the four years since, KHB has recorded two albums (with a third, American Mutation, on the way), written more than 30 original songs, and built a repertoire nearly 100 songs deep. Expect a fiery set that's almost entirely new since that 2022 night — featuring music from the upcoming album, the new single "Daisy," and at least one brand-new song making its live debut. Enjoy a great night of music and friends!
Kelley's Heroes Band is a Rochester, NY original rock outfit led by singer-songwriter and guitarist John Kelley, along with Jon Gary.
Formed in 2022, the band has recorded two albums and written more than 30 originals in four years, drawing on classic American rock and roots traditions while keeping the songwriting front and center — sharp narrators, vivid imagery, and songs that hold together as a body of work.
The band is currently at work on its third album, American Mutation, a 12-track set slated for late 2026, led by the new single "Daisy." Alongside Kelley, the lineup features Jon Gary (bass/vocals), Jim Conner (drums), Jason Titus (keys), and Dan Hoh (guitar).
