Bahama Mama, widely recognized as one of the first white-reggae bands in America, performed up & down the East Coast between 1973 and 1979, blurring the line between Rock and Reggae, and laying the groundwork for future bands like John Brown’s Body, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Thunder Body, The Medicinals, Mosaic Foundation, and more. Bahama Mama truly are the “Godfathers” of that “Roots Rock Reggae”sound.

Bahama Mama released two killer singles, "Lonesome Cowboy / Upstate Skank,” and "Hurricane / Future Fear" and an album, "Bahama Mama Live,” now all highly collectible discs.
