The Falling Spikes bring together veteran members of New Math, Infrared Radiation Orchestra, and Blue Envy to honor and re-imagine the music of The Velvet Underground and Lou Reed. Not a tribute act, instead the band channels the creativity, raw energy, and artistic spirit that defined the originals. Their performances blend reverence with reinvention, building on the original songs to explore fresh sonic territory. The result is a show that’s both powerful and intimate that creates a dynamic musical experience for longtime fans and new listeners alike.
